Questions teachers ask

Can I get a deleted assignment back?

No. Deleting removes the assignment, its grades and its comments for good. Files that students made stay in their Drive and in the class Drive folder.

Can I delete from the Stream?

No. Assignments can only be deleted from the Classwork page.

I only posted it to the wrong class or with the wrong date.

Edit it instead (More › Edit). If it went to the wrong class and no one has opened it, deleting and reposting is fine.

Can students delete an assignment?

No. Students can unsubmit and resubmit their own work, but only teachers can delete an assignment.
