Waste and resource choices: Build-and-explain activity — Earth Day (K–2)

Coming soon. This planned resource will help learners in K–2 compare ways to reduce waste using evidence with original, editable materials and separate teacher guidance.

The planned content covers reduce, reuse, local recycling variation, sorting, action plan.

How it will work

1. Original buildable template using common paper supplies.
2. Clear numbered assembly directions with original diagrams.
3. Two explanation/response pages linking the construction to the learning goal.

A separate teacher companion is planned with prerequisites, teaching guidance, answers or worked examples, and support options.

This resource is in development. Student materials and the teacher guide will become available on this same page after the finished package has passed review. The planned content may be refined during production.
