Vowel teams: Original reading passages (Grades 1–2)

Coming soon. This planned resource will help learners in grades 1–2 read and spell common vowel-team patterns with original, editable materials and separate teacher guidance.

The planned content covers ai/ay, ee/ea, oa/ow, contextual practice, cumulative review.

How it will work

1. Four cumulative original texts using an explicit taught-correspondence inventory.
2. Four matched response pages with word mapping, supported rereading, and two brief meaning checks each.
3. Record any untaught exception words in the teacher companion.

A separate teacher companion is planned with prerequisites, teaching guidance, answers or worked examples, and support options.

This resource is in development. Student materials and the teacher guide will become available on this same page after the finished package has passed review. The planned content may be refined during production.
