Area reasoning: Task cards (Grade 6)

Coming soon. This planned resource will help learners in grade 6 measure area using equal square units and justified strategies with original, editable materials and separate teacher guidance.

The planned content covers tiling, rectangles, decomposition, missing dimensions, application.

How it will work

1. Sixteen core task cards on four pages.
2. Eight reasoning or transfer cards on two pages.
3. Two spacious response sheets with stable card numbers.

A separate teacher companion is planned with prerequisites, teaching guidance, answers or worked examples, and support options.
